Today is an extremely difficult day for this great city. Here at T&S we remember it all like it was yesterday. We stood on 7th Avenue and looked south in utter horror at the scene unfolding before us. Our shock soon turned to determination to help those fleeing the tragedy in whatever way we could – with food, water and anything else we had to give. This, of course, was not unusual, as individuals and businesses across the city reacted in a similar way. If anything can be taken from that day, it is pride at the spirit that the tragedy brought out in every single New Yorker. British magazine Hello! came to talk to Nicky Perry in the week after the tragedy about this heroic response:

Our thoughts today, and every other day, are with those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001.
