Royal Horticultural Society Chelsea Flower Show 2012

From sandwiches to flowers: Britain really does have it all when it comes to contests. The Royal Horticultural Society’s Chelsea Flower Show is currently taking place in Britain and is proving as wildly popular as ever. Hundreds of thousands of spectators travel from across the world to marvel at what can be done with flowers, turf and a water feature here and there. And as our eight favorite images show, that’s quite a bit!

Daffodils: the universal sign that spring has sprung. But we had no idea there were so many different shades!

A flower-covered Mini. This has given us an idea for Sean’s taxi…

Now, this is what our childhood was missing!

The Laurent Perrier garden… Do we get a free champers? Yes, we do! Get us a deck chair, we’re staying.

Auricula plants, apparently… They look good enough to eat.

Hmmm, we need to add this to our gardening tools.

God Save The Queen!

The winning garden from Cleve West. Well done Cleve!
