Very daring to start an English teashop in NY 😉 The teashop look really cute too!
Thanks for the comment. We’ve been here 21 years now, so I think we’ve won the lovely New Yorkers over!.. Please check our most recent post: http://wp.me/p1FPR6-7o and let us know if you have any suggestions for tea-related songs – would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hello! What a lovely blog you have on all things scrumptious and British! I also adore the tea cosies you posted (mmm…especially the All Sorts Licorice!). I will have to pay a visit the next time I’m in NYC.
Thanks so much for visiting my blog and liking my post. I hope that you will find some future posts of mine interesting as well. Looking forward to learning more from you. Have a wonderful day!
Thank you for the kind words, and we look forward to seeing you when you’re in nyc!!
Hello there,
What an interesting blog. I am an Indian girl who grew up in a British colonial tea plantation in Assam India – which you may know is the heartland of English Tea. A cup of strong, malty Assam is hard to beat. Tea in my blood. Our bungalow cook made the best English tea treats from scratch – “dondee” (Dundee) cake, cucumber sonweesh (sandwich), brand snaps and butterfly cakes. I will most definitely stop by on my next visit to NYC. Thanks for visiting my blog. Cheers!
What a fascinating story. We really enjoy your blog and very much look forward to your visit. We’ll have to brew one of the best cups we’ve ever made!!
Thank you so much for stopping by my blog yesterday. I can’t wait to visit the next time I’m in NYC. The six months I spent in England are among the happiest in my life, so English food (especially teas and scones) will always hold a special place in my heart. Happy Easter!
Ah, that’s great to hear. So glad you enjoyed your time in Blighty. And look forward to seeing you next time you’re in town. Happy Easter!

I am absolutly in love with your teashop, store, and resturaunt! I bought a teapot with poppy flowers on it and also a cute mug with roses! Your staff is so nice and full of character! I’ve met a couple of them like the german one named Lucas and Natasha! Everyone at the tea store next door is hilarious! Thank you so much for bringing a little bit of Britan into Manhattan!

So happy to hear from you Isabella! And very happy you’re happy with the teapot! Come back soon, the British boys love a Norwegian chick!! ;p
Have been to your shop many times while I was living in NY and loved it!! My mum is from England and spent many summers there. I’m a confirmed Anglophile. Last trip to London was in 05. Can’t wait to go back. Thanks for having such a wonderful place to have some yummy food that brings back warm memories! Can’t wait to get to NYC and come in for a cuppa!
