The Restaurant Remains Closed

Ladies & Gents… The restaurant is still closed. We had to shut for essential work on the ceiling but we should be back in action next week. In the meantime, the store remains open so you can keep your British store cupboard well stocked – and we’re still delivering. Give us a call on 212-989-9735, or find us on Seamless. We want everyone to rest assured we are not gone for good. Look forward to seeing you when the doors reopen for a nice strong cuppa and a catch up!

All Good Things Must End: One Man, Two Guvnors

We’re sad to say that the Broadway run of One Man, Two Guvnors is drawing to a close on September 2nd. It really is bloody fantastic; if you haven’t seen it, make sure you do. We were very honored to provide all the props for the show and have had one or two cast and crew in for a sneaky shepherd’s pie. Best of luck to them all back in Blighty, and we look forward to the National Theatre’s production of War Horse, heading stateside soon!

Tea & Sympathy British Delivery Boys

Fancy a treat to kickstart the weekend? May we recommend you order in shepherd’s pie, sticky toffee pudding… and a British delivery boy! We often come across comments about how ‘cute’ they are on various blogs and review sites. And some of them have been known to take a rather long time on certain deliveries…. So give it a go, they’ll do pretty much anything for tips!!

Tea & Sympathy Customer Blog Review

It makes our day when we come across kind words on customers’ blogs. Don’t tell The New York Times, but they mean a lot more to us than write-ups in the big publications. Because at the end of the day, we’re not cooking for journalists, we’re cooking for you. And kind words are always made all the better by gorgeous photographs. So thank you very to The Boston Bakery Babe for this fab post.
